Empowering Families: Bethany Ventura
Involved with I'm Determined Since 2021
I have worked in the field of Special Education in Stafford Schools since 2012. As both an educator and a parent of a child with a disability, advocating for students has taken on a deeply personal meaning. My experiences have strengthened my commitment to ensuring that every student has the support, opportunities and encouragement that they need to be successful. Bringing the philosophy of I’m Determined to life is a passion that drives me both professionally and personally.

This is my son, Levi, and I at his baseball game with the Rappahannock Miracle League! For the first time, he was able to enjoy playing a team sport because he could express himself and advocate for his needs.
Quote from her Video:
“I just want to say to staff and to families who may be unfamiliar with the I’m Determined Center and their tools that is it never too early to begin building a culture of self-determination in your school, your classroom, and in your home.”
